This 1.5 hour interactive workshop is an educational adventure for K–12 students, unconventional learners, educational groups, adults, 4-H organizations and more. Hosted on-site at the Enchanted Immersive Zoological Center, it blends STEM-based learning, live animal encounters, conservation and storytelling—perfect for groups up to 30.
Step into a hands-on STEM adventure where wildlife becomes the classroom! At the Center, learners explore biology, ecology, environmental engineering, zoology and conservation; use microscopes and scientific tools; study habitat design; and apply real-world math through diets, measurements, and data collection. By blending STEM principles with interactive storytelling and animal encounters, we make learning engaging, accessible, and unforgettable. Learners also have the opportunity to interact with reptiles, marsupials, crustaceans, invertebrates, and more—feeding animals, joining training sessions, and exploring habitats that spark curiosity. From whispering with a modern-day dinosaur to braving a dragon-guarded jungle, every visit becomes a true journey of discovery.
Learners will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about marsupials, reptiles, crustaceans, arthropods, and more
- Explore horse care and anatomy up close
- Feed a variety of animal species
- Take part in educational games or hands-on activities
- Discover the hidden wonders of animal organisms through a microscope
- Safely handle select exotic animals with guidance from our trained staff.

Workshops are offered by reservation only, with flexible scheduling available. Please call 770-742-8228 to check availability and book your session.
The cost is $27 per person. Children ages 2 and under are free. Please contact us for group rates for parties of 20 or more.

All attached digital forms must be completed and submitted at least 10 days prior to your scheduled program. If individual ‘Liability, Photo and Video Release’ forms are not completed for each participant or minor before the scheduled encounter, a parent or legal guardian may complete and sign the form on-site via our kiosk prior to any animal handling.
